In 'creeping' on Vkontakte, I found the profile of one of Anya's caretakers from when she was in the orphanage. She had a few photos of Anya! One from 2007, and two older ones --where she is wearing the coat I first sent her, way back in November of 2005!
Bittersweet to see these, but what a wonderful surprise on a gloomy, grumpy day. Thank you, Lena (the caretaker), and thank you, God!
Here she is on stage! ( She is on the far right, in black.)
Here she is, second from left, in the pink coat I had sent her!
And posing with her friends!
I know for certain this was a little gift from God, reminding me of what waits at the other end of the 15 plus hour plane ride. What an unexpected, sweet reminder....
Sending prayers and "e-hugs" as you work through all the challenges to get to Siberia. So sorry you don't have 100% support; but the one waiting there for you will certainly know you support HER 100%. You are making a difference in her life in more ways then the average person would. God bless, Jennifer
ReplyDeleteKeri! This brought tears to my eyes to see her happy all dressed in her pink coat! It will all be worth it one day. Take rest as you need and no less than once a week! Remember that God planned that a long time ago! Then get up ready to do the battle with love on your side! I am so proud of what you are doing! I know God will honor it all. Looking forward to praying you through your wild adventure! :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that great! How wonderful! I have not figured out Russian facebook yet...got half-way there and stopped.
ReplyDeleteGlad you did!
What a special gift for you!! Keep the end in sight. Blessings.
