‘What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men …… That is what love looks like.’ - St. Augustine
Lots of prayers for little Dasha, Anya, Nastia, and you! You all have been added to the prayer list in our Sunday School class at church. It just doesn't seem right at all that TWO girls who have a mom and sister eager to love them are left to survive as orphans. I don't believe everything that happens on earth is God's will - he gives us free will, and sadly many people make choices apart from the will of God which negatively affect the lives of many innocent people. However, I do believe God can bring blessings out of the worst situations, even if it is not in our timing. I also know the same God who holds my precious children in China, the One who held your Nastia and my Christina at DD#5 in Siberia, is holding Dasha and Anya as well as all the other orphans in the palm of His great hand. It is not His will these children live and die as orphans. They are there because of the choices of man, and now God is waiting for man to correct the problem created not by God but by man himself. We are doing it one child at a time, and as more people see the blessings of adoption in turn more people are led to help these precious children. I pray both Dasha and Anya are able to come home to the US soon, but until that happens I pray they are taken care of and also that the love and prayers of so many people will sustain them while they wait to come home. May God bless you richly for your love of the orphans... {{{HUGS}}}
